About Us

When did it start ?

The warehouse stocks have been built up since winter 2007/8 through the generous support of church congregations throughout Oxford.

The CEF café and foodbank opened for service at St Francis Church, Hollow Way on 1st April 2008. It is now open every Tuesday and Friday lunchtimes from 12 noon - 2pm.

This is a Christian project that aims to be non-denominational and to be supported by local churches in the Oxford area.

"At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Then there will be equality”

St Paul,
1st letter to the Corinthians
